Loan me a book
Loan me a book that I might write
a sonnet in the margins
in future years
when I am gone
read it
and remember me.
I am one who likes to write in the margins of books and I like to find second hand books where someone has done the same. It passes on the connection one had with the words.
Glass House Girl: I am one who writes in books as well. I hadn't thought about it before, but I suppose it's a sort of interaction with the book and the author. A tangible response. An active participation.
The "best" translation of the Word of God could be "you"!
